Bendigo restaurants added 12 new winter specials this week across central venues.

The updates arrive as cooler July temperatures settle in and locals seek indoor seating. City data shows foot traffic in the CBD rose 8 percent last winter compared with 2025 figures, prompting operators to adjust offerings before the school holidays peak.

Central spots to try

Two venues lead the changes. The Kitchen Table on Mitchell Street now serves a slow-cooked lamb dish priced at $32, while Harvest Bendigo in the Rosalind Park precinct introduced a $28 mushroom risotto with local produce. Both locations extended dinner service until 9:30 pm on Fridays and Saturdays through August.

Bookings at The Kitchen Table have climbed 22 percent since the menu launch on 8 July, according to staff records. Harvest Bendigo reported similar uptake after its new supplier agreement with a nearby farm began deliveries last Monday.

Reservations can be made online or by calling the venues directly before peak hours. Diners planning visits should check for any last-minute availability changes tied to the upcoming Bendigo Winter Market on 19 July.
