Harvest Table on Hargreaves Street introduced a mushroom and barley risotto priced at $26 while The Larder on Williamson Street added a slow-cooked lamb dish for $32 both drawing from produce at the weekly market held at Rosalind Park.

Bendigo Tourism data shows 18 percent more diners visited the city centre in July 2025 compared with the same month the prior year with average spend per table reaching $68 at venues open past 8pm.

Winter Menus and Market Ties

Harvest Table sources vegetables directly from stallholders at the Rosalind Park market which operates every Saturday from 8am to 1pm while The Larder partners with the same growers for its rotating specials board updated each Wednesday.

Both venues sit within a three-block stretch that also includes the Bendigo Regional Institute of Gastronomy training kitchen where 42 new cooks completed placements in the past financial year.

Reservations can be made online for tables after 6pm on Friday and Saturday nights when most Mitchell Street restaurants extend closing times to 10pm during July.
