The Bendigo Ford Fun Run is set for Sunday, 1 March 2026, with start and finish at Rosalind Park and distances ranging from the 1km Kids Dash to the 21.1km Half Marathon. Entry fees for the event run from $12 for the early-bird 1km Kids Dash to $125 for the late-entry 21.1km Half Marathon, along with family and group packages.
Participants can choose distances suited to different experience levels at the March event. The range begins with a short kids option and extends to a full half marathon, all beginning and ending in the same central park location. Fees are structured to include lower-cost early entry for shorter races and higher rates for longer distances closer to the day.
The Bendigo 5k Frenzy is listed for Saturday, 7 February 2026, at the Lar Birpa Athletics Complex in Flora Hill, with evening races planned. The Bendigo Harriers Dragon Mile is scheduled for Sunday, 5 April 2026, also in Bendigo. A separate 1.5km community walk supporting Life’s Little Treasures Foundation took place on Sunday, 19 October 2025, at Lake Weeroona.
These dates spread across late 2025 and early to mid-2026, placing several running and walking opportunities within the local calendar. The 5k event uses a dedicated athletics facility in Flora Hill, while the Walk for Prems used the lakeside setting at Lake Weeroona.
The listed events include short community walks, evening 5k races, and longer road distances up to half marathon level. Entry pricing starts at a low point for the shortest kids dash and rises with distance and timing, with packages noted for families and groups. This structure supplies options across age groups and commitment levels within the same regional running calendar. Residents can select shorter or longer challenges at different times of year, using established local venues such as Rosalind Park and the Lar Birpa Athletics Complex.
Event information appears on runningcalendar.com.au and bendigofordfunrun.com.au, where schedules, distances and fees are published directly.
