Bendigo Teams Hold Strong Positions Across Four Amateur Sport Leagues

Shepparton United SC leads the FV Greater Bendigo League 1 with 18 points after 7 games, followed by Tatura SC on 15 points. Strathfieldsaye sits atop the Bendigo Football Netball League with 40 points and a 162.32% win percentage after 11 rounds, ahead of Sandhurst on 36 points. These results come from active amateur competitions tracked in local records.

Multiple Leagues Operating Simultaneously

The Bendigo FNL A-grade netball standings list Kangaroo Flat in first place with 36 points at 209%, with Sandhurst second on 28 points. The Bendigo Major League Multisports shows Golden Staph on 45 points after 7 games and Old Boy's on 38 points. The presence of these separate competitions indicates residents take part in several codes at the same time rather than focusing on a single sport.

Relegation Pressure and Lower Table Positions

Shepparton SC holds 0 points at the foot of the FV Greater Bendigo League 1, while La Trobe University Bendigo SC sits ninth with 3 points. Both clubs face relegation risk. Continued matches involving teams at every level of the table require players to prepare and appear each week, pointing to sustained local involvement in organised fitness activities.

The listed ladders cover soccer, Australian rules football, netball and multisports, all conducted under amateur rules. Points totals and win percentages recorded after set numbers of games demonstrate that clubs field sides on a regular schedule. This pattern of weekly fixtures across codes provides one measurable sign of how many people in the area maintain physical activity through team sport.

Next Steps for Observers

Residents can follow updated ladders on the sites of the governing bodies that publish the results. Checking the standings each round shows which teams remain in contention and which continue to play regardless of position. This ongoing record keeping itself forms part of the local sports infrastructure.
