Bendigo College Sports Results Reflect Strength of Local Venues and Infrastructure

Bendigo Senior Secondary College badminton teams reached the Loddon Mallee Region finals after first claiming the Sandhurst Division title. The college girls netball side repeated as SSV State Final winners, and its girls basketball team defeated Greensborough 28-19 at the same state finals.

BSSC athletes collected six medals at the SSV State Athletics Finals. Jake Hilson and Ben Powell each won gold in the 400m. These outcomes occur on established local tracks and fields that host regular training and competition for secondary students.

BSSC riders Isaac Buckell and Connor Sens took gold and bronze in the JM19 Individual Pursuit at the Victorian Senior Track GP. At the same time, Bendigo South East College students Bailey Bradley, Alix Taylor and Landon Randell placed third at the SSV Junior Lawn Bowls State Finals, with Bradley selected for Under 18 State Squad tryouts.
