Bendigo Colleges Score Wins in Badminton, Netball, Cycling, Lawn Bowls

Netball Title Retained
The Bendigo Senior Secondary College girls netball team claimed the SSV State Final last Friday. This result delivered the school its second consecutive state title in the competition.
Cycling Podium Finishes
Isaac Buckell and Connor Sens from Bendigo Senior Secondary College collected medals at the Victorian Senior Track GP. Buckell took gold and Sens bronze in the JM19 Individual Pursuit. Buckell added another win by taking the U/19 road final in the Victorian Schools Cycling Competition.
Lawn Bowls Third Place
Students from Bendigo South East College placed third overall in Victoria at the SSV Junior Lawn Bowls State Finals. Bailey Bradley, Alix Taylor and Landon Randell represented the college in the event.
Upcoming NBL Event
The 2026 Code Sports NBL Blitz will bring all ten NBL teams to Red Energy Arena in Bendigo from September 2 to 6 2026. The tournament provides local exposure to elite basketball competition at the venue.
