Bendigo Amateur League Finals Begin August 8: Top Four Contenders Battle

The Bendigo Amateur Soccer League released its final regular-season ladder on July 10, with White Hills FC sitting two points clear of Strathfieldsaye United at the top of the premier division.

The result matters now because the top six sides qualify for the finals series that begins in four weeks, and every club has only one weekend left to lock in home-ground advantage.

White Hills trains at the old Showgrounds oval off Hargreaves Street while Strathfieldsaye uses the new synthetic pitch behind the Bendigo Regional Sports Centre on View Street; both facilities will host elimination finals on August 8 and 9.

League records show 47 goals scored across the top two teams this season, and average attendance at their home games reached 620 spectators per round, up 18 percent from 2025.

Key matchups to watch

Golden Square and Kangaroo Flat sit third and fourth and will meet in a sudden-death qualifier if results hold. The winner earns a week off before a semi-final at the Sports Centre.

Coaches have already booked extra training slots at the Lake Weeroona reserve to prepare for the shorter finals format that rewards clean sheets over attacking flair.

Tickets and schedule details

Entry to all finals matches costs $18 for adults and $8 for juniors, with gates opening 90 minutes before kick-off. The grand final is listed for September 5 at the same View Street venue.
