Clubs that want a slice of future funding are being advised by administrators to have their membership data, volunteer hours, and venue-utilisation figures audit-ready before submissions close on August 15. Football Central Victoria's regional office on Queen Street is offering free one-hour consultations to affiliated clubs through the month of July to help with that process.

The world's biggest sporting stage may have moved on without Australia. But in Bendigo, the grassroots response to that campaign has left clubs with fuller change rooms, busier car parks, and a rare window to lock in infrastructure investment that could shape community sport here for a generation.
